Scanning channels on 13e and 28.e

I did have my spiderbox 6000 running the motor on lnb 1 and vu solo2 and lnb 1

Spiderbox going cable going to motor and then to lnb

Vu solo2 going to straight lo lnb

On the original set i was getting 1400 on hotbird and 970 0n sky.

With the new setup i am getting 950 on hotbird and 466 on sky.

I think it is setup correctly because i am getting 98/96 and locking on both sats.

When scanning hot bird it gets 48% found 970 and nothing till 100%

Same thing on sky 466 up to 55% and nothing till 100%

Try scanning in any missing channels manually.
Use Lyngsat, for a quick check, of what's missing.

dont waste your time scanning use a pre-prepared channel listing ala catseyes, they spend a bit of time getting things right and its worth it.

taken from the guide by lee gw

    4.a Upload a Channel List
Download a pre-configured channel list example catseye's from
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/forumdispl...gma-2-Settings
Unzip the Channel List to your local HDD.
    Example C:\Catseye E2 Settings File 75 East-58 West

Use VuCC to upload channel list to Vu+.

    Download VuCC from
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread...ol-Centre-V0-8

(or you can use Dreamset or Dreamboxedit instead)

yes it overwrites the existing list (so back it up if you wish to retain a copy)

when scanning, I believe it only scans the transponders and sats in its database, which may be an xml file

this is why we always recommend inputting a premade list like the catseye one, as blind scanning may not be an option
