    Solo2 motorised issues.

Hi guys, still tinkering with my new toy, and I came across a problem which I cannot seem to resolve.

I am trying to set up a 1.2 diseq (non USALs) by following the guide posted on here (latest BH image).

I get stuck in the Positioner setup menu the step where you go to the 'Tune' sub menu by pressing the red button.

Whether I select 'predefined transponder' or 'manual', Satellite selection is limited to 19.2E Astra or 16.0E Eutelsat, when I press left or right, no other satellites come up even though for example hotbird is configured in Reception settings correctly.

I am using Catseyes latest file for all satellites.

I cannot move the dish (Postioner movement) to hotbird or any other satellite because the 'Tune' sub menu under the red button does not allow me to select other satellites apart from the only 2 choices i have now 19E, or 16E degrees. Yes when I select any of the channels on those 2 satellites, the dish moves successfully without fail.

I am using Tuner A with tuner B disabled
19E is in Positioner storage 01
    16E is in 02.

What is the function of Satfinder sub menu?

    Did I miss anything?

Your help is very much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Barry

Are you using a 36V motor and V-Box II positioner?

Have you set up Tuner A to advanced, and stored the satellites?

Select a satellite, scroll down and select No, for the Usals options, then I think on the second page you can store the number, for where you want the satellite allocated. Once done you should be able to find the satellite in the motor options.

    Thanks guys for your replies.
I have a Technomate diseqC H-H motor model TM-2600 Super. Can I use USALs? The guide I was following stated I select NO to USALs. is the TM2600 USALs compatible?

Mickha I have already followed those steps and I even performed a factory restore and started from scratch to no avail. Anymore ideas? Thanks

Is setting up USALs all automatic. Sorry to appear a bit dense. I have the dish tuned up to Astra 19E and 16E. Will USALs detect the rest of the satellites automatically using those two satellites as a reference? Or is there another guide to this?

    Regards,

    Barry

It will detect all satellites automatically when you enter your USALS co-ordinates, I must stress though for it to do this correctly the Technomate motor MUST be aligned on your pole 100%

easiest way is to set up on 1west if you are on the east of the UK or 5west if you are on the west of the UK.
Just make sure your dish is perfectly horizontal,...and that is you zero'd.
All satellites will be found by USALs after that.
You can get your house coordinates from Łoogle.
