    Loss of volume.

    Hi,

Occasionally when I turn the Vu box on I have no sound. To resolve the issue I have to go to another channel and then switch back to the original channel and the sound is back again.

Any ideas what's causing this ?

How are you hearing your sound?

Surround sound system or tv speakers or what?

This info may help others to suggest solutions.

Loss of sound often happens after a crash. As you say, switch to another channel and the sound is back working again.

Could it be the HDMI connector in the rear of the VUDUO?

When I first got my box I had no sound followed by intermittent sound. I found that the HDMI lead was not quite fully inserted in the socket at the rear of the VU.
That was several years ago and I have not had any problems since.
