    i have a TM5402 M2 HD box
i got latest phantom patch from Oct 2013 installed
    All working okay
but my question is this ..can i save and backup my Biss keys on a USB Pen ??
i know i can do this with my channel list but can it be done with Biss keys ive stored in 8280 menu ??
i really need to do a factory reset so it wud save me a lot of time if i can backup and save these Biss keys onto a usb stick
has anyone tried this and if so did it work ?
thnxs for any help it'll be much appreciated if you can answer this question .
    cheers ,

Sorry Barney Bad news it wont save the Biss key's when you upload from the box to a USB drive it only saves the CAS keys and nothing else.

I have just got the New TM F3/5 and this does allow you to backup all your Biss keys that you entered infact Phantom just released a new patch yesterday that increases the Biss keys on this machine from 40 to 100.

I have also got a 5402HD M1 receiver and this is the only let down.

    Regards

i'll save biss keys all on a text file i guess and Re-enter them again after factory reset
is the TM F3/5 similar in any way to TM5402 ??
is the Tuner as good ?
only had my TM5402 M2 HD under a year and i guess its already old and pretty much obsolete ..how times change quickly ,lol's

Must admit that I'd always expected to lose all my Biss keys after Factory resetting previously on my TM6900HD Super and now my TM5402HD M2 - because on earlier patches they sometimes DID disappear but on recent patches they seem to remain ok!!

    @Barney,

The TM F3/5 model is and i say this lightly only marginally better on some fringe channels than what the 5402 is in fact its that slight if you have a 5402 its probably not worth the upgrade.

It does however have IPTV and a few other functions but the Biss List is handy as you can just copy and paste the keys in instead of having to manually type them in saves a few hours if you where doing them from scratch.

Glad you got it sorted Barney

I found the TM F3/5 slightly weaker when testing against the 5402 on bein sports 7.3w.
Can also confirm the TM F3/5 is ok on 27.5w

@manic01 you know yourself mate everyone's setup is different Dish,Cable,LNB etc.. what may work wonders for one person may be exactly the opposite for another.

We can all only base comparisons on our own equipment and as such these comparisons should not be taken literally

I would have thought that its about time Pimps set up a section for the Tm F3/5 as well as the Mini - there does already seem to be a lot of discussion about them 'comparing notes' etc - so surely new sections are now warranted?
