    TM 6900 HD Patch

    TM 6900 HD non super .i have got this receiver and have been told that there is an add on patch to make it accept internet.he could give me no further info?
    anybody know if its possible .i doubt it but i thought i would ask anyway??

    Theres no ethernet is there on TM6900 non super.

    no m8 but as i said according to a friend he thinks he read somewhere there is an add on that takes care of this.as i said i very much doubt it but i thought I'd ask .thanks for your quick reply.

    No mate, the addon sw is for the super version only and the newer TM5402 etc.
    Wont work on non super, theres no ethernet or wifi facility.

    There is a way of running CCCAM via PC on non super boxes by running gladiator on pc and connecting via null modem cable.
    I use gladiator v105.
    There is some threads on here if you do a search and loads if you google it.

    Thats basically sssp via rs232
    You can buy a cccam capable hd receiver for less than £50 so hardly worth the grief.

    True, but if you already have the receiver it would be free wouldn`t it?

    But old technology, things have long moved on and for very little you get a lot more.

    But fun still I will get my butt to the attic and see if I can find my old Technomate in the pile of junk. WOuld be nice if it worked for me. I don`t need it but will try it anyway
    Does it take the Nline anyway? If so I might even give it to my dad and share my sub with him when/if such option is added to my sb6000
