i have done the 11.777 tp 1 epg data scan and left for 5 mins. it works fine... next day its gone. Am i doing something wrong? is there any patches or files for this...new to tm... am recieving thru c/s from friend. please help!

try leaving a fat32 formatted usb stick in the box as I think it saves onto the stick when you go to standby
Never saved for me on standby either.
Makes no odds as takes approx 40 secs to update.
I can live with that.
Manic is spot on as soon as you turn to standby the EPG is lost as it is stored in the 5402 ram, where as a linux receiver can store it on USB/Hard Drive and then access it and store temporarily in the Ram when switched off it still has the USB/HD backup the 5402 does not have this option
Does the EPG work on all sats?
