    Question MUTV on 10E

Hi, is anyone still managing to pick up MUTV on 10E please - there also seems to be a bit of a conflict as to whether it should be on 11547V 1613 or 11647V 1614?

Not managed to get it on my new TM5402HD M2 I bought/set up last week - so maybe its yet another one which is falling foul of the dreaded LNB/patch issue for me (i.e. not finding certain lower s/rs)!
Nothing is scanned in at all on this freq using my current stb + white Sharp LNB, yet it was absolutely fine as I finished with mt TM6900HD Super/Sharp plus final Channel List produced accordingly!
Will continue to rescan in hope!

Tried to rescan again today, yet when I go into Advanced Search on my TM5402HD, re-enter the details 11547V 1613 or 1614, there is absolutely NO signal on 10E for ANYTHING, never mind MUTV!
(Yet it DID scan in nearly 400 tv & 80 odd radio channels on the Blind Search function - then the Auto Scan, where I manually put in the MUTV details!)
So I've unsuccessfully tried a MANUAL 'New Transponder' search
    Then a Blind Scan
Then an Auto Scan (using the existing transponders previously scanned in on both the 6900 and the 5402!
Yet others of you are saying there IS a signal on those freq details, so why is MY stb not picking it up, when my TM6900HD Super did it fine, no probs?
(Also still using my 'better' white Sharp LNB/110 dish)

    Weird?

best thing to do is go Menu>Right arrow to PID Search > go to Transponder list if correct freq 11547 v 1614sr is not there then use yellow to ADD TP
add this freq see if signal is there ? if not go to Motorized settings and select freq 11547 v 1614 that you added if still no signal then select Motor Fine movement
take a step East [ left arrow button ] and stop wait if no signal still try again and again ,
if still nothing try going West a step at a time until you do get a LOCK
you will eventually get a lock since you had it before on your TM6900HD
once your LOCKED IN signal see if it increase anything with a step either way ..if not just save position and goto PID Search again and Select from Transponder drop bar 11547 v 1614 now signal should be pretty good ..if so hit Red button and wait & Enjoy MUTV FEED

I Hope this detailed guide might be of some help to you ?
Also best to try this when its not raining a lot .. because your LNB will give very weak signals when wet ..at least it can with me so i just use a kitchen towel to dry LNB off to vastly improve signals again .
im lucky since my 1.2m channel master dish is ground mounted i can do this without any ladders required .

    Good luck Homroad buddy .

Thanks guys, but I have tried all that - in fact at 1am this morn I went into Advanced Search on that freq (11547V 1613) and it was THERE at approx 73%, so scanned it in loud and clear!
However this morning at 0930am its gone again & no signal, yet Fox & other channels (e.g. MGM ME) are between 75 & 82+%, so Mutv obviously experiencing varaiable signal levels for some reason here in North Lincs!

Just checked, using a 1.2M dish, in the North West, and I have no problem scanning in 11547 V 1614 DVB-S2 8PSK 3/4 but get a channel labelled video ch 1, I haven't got time to install the keys, as it's time for work, but you should at least scan it in, given your other quality readings.

Using Tm5402hd, 110 dish and white sharp lnb have it scanned in with quality average of 80% using freq 11647v 1614 coming up as 'Tv1 11647v Eutel' and stable signal although strangely still scans in using the other freq 11547v.

'Tv1 11547v Eutel' is exactly what I got today at 0100hrs when the signal for me was good, but I also get nothing for 11647V 1613/4 as with 11547V the remainder of the day!
Will try 11647V at 0100hrs this coming morning - in approx. 1 1/4 hrs time!!
Its getting all a bit like 7W eh? lol!!

Yes, 11547V 1613 back at 0100hrs GMT, but no sign of 11647V 1614 coming in - yet all gone again this morning at 0930hrs GMT!!
My black inverto has long gone as I am back on my white Sharp for everything else - but still have my black quattro I mistakenly bought a few months ago so will just give it a try as a mater of interest - its now 1132hrs here in North Lincs - bit cloudy though!! lol!!

No, tried black quattro and most satellites no signal at all - and MUTV on 10E zilch too - so now back on white Sharp with MUTV just occasionally catching a signal at moment but not 'sticking' on!

You can get slight fluctuations, in signal, throughout the day, and night, but to lose signal completely, from only one frequency, especially when it's 73% quality, seems very strange. You might want to investigate this a bit further. Check all your signal strengths/quality readings on 10E, and 9E, just to see if any other transponders are affected:
    Code:
    http://www.lyngsat.com/Eutelsat-10A.html
    Code:
    http://www.lyngsat.com/Eutelsat-9A-and-Ka-Sat-9A.html
Do you experience any problems on any other channels, like TV Disco, 13E, 11642 H 27500or the German FTA Sports channel on 19E, 12480 V 27500?
