    Multicas cccam client

my dm500 can sucessfully work as a cccam client to a cccam server with a given C line. using the same C line in Multcas is not working. Its been a while since i used Multcas as cccam client, any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

    Hi,

Do you remember that MultiCAS is not reading the configuration files when it starts but that you have to manually load it into MultiCAS via 03. Plugins - OpenXCAS - MultiCAS - ... menus?

So you can change whatever you want in your Cccam.cfg in the MultiCAS folder, it won't be loaded until you specifically load it into MultiCAS.

And which version of MultiCAS do you use? I have lots of problem with 1.70 and 1.70B so I prefer to use 1.63.

It works at least that much at my end.

Simple, as you said: either manually or via a file (ccam.cfg) and then Load file (I think blue button), then Save (red button)?

Then, login with one client. When successful Exit button, it asks you if you wanna login to all servers -> OK.

If you want more - MultiCAS can't really oblige but that it can do, I think...

    Hi,

why do you make so complicated operation, simply create a file cccam.cfg with all your C: lines in it in the /PLUGIN/OpenXCAS/MultiCAS folder and then load it in MultiCAS.

If it doesn't work my advice perform this:
Be carefull you will lose all your manually or MultiCAS edited lines.
    Code:
    cd /PLUGIN/OpenXCAS/MultiCAS
    killall emu_module
    rm *.bin
Restart MultiCAS from the GUI, and load the configuration files from MultiCAS, this will create your own clean Multicas *.bin files and retest.

The .bin file structure change when MultiCAS add new options like it did for example with 1.70x version.

well its not working on mgcamd either , connects but get this "read message from server failed: 37"
so i'm gonna try starting from scratch again by doing a factory reset and reflash the box.

PR2, if what you wrote is addressed to me - you misunderstood.

HH, it happened to me on Dual Boot OFW in USB stick, too. Had to redo it all.
