    cheapest i've seen the upper band ka band lnbs around £500 but for the lower band ka for rte they are under £30

    latest update on rte 9e 20.185L hooked up an inverto KAband lnb to an andrews .90cm dish and signal still comming through loud and clear using spiderbox 6000hd frequency displayed 10.764 s/r 24995 V S76 Q64 i was told the signal had dropped dramatically in the last year or so but still no problem here on the north wales coast

    you would probably pick up the signal with even a smaller dish seems ok here on a .90cm have nothing smaller to try at the moment

    Me either i don`t have any thing smaller,the 1.2m is fixed on 9 east just for the rte channels.

    These test transmissions are for RTE One HD - this is now announced for 21 October on DTT, and possibly TG4 HD as well.
    Seirbhis Thrialach translates to Trial Service.

    what is going to happen on 21st oct is that RTENL will fire up the 2nd mux on the DTT platform. What we are all hoping that this will hearld in RTE ONE HD or pseudo Hd and along with it TG4HD. At the same time these will be duplicated on *******. It is not a given that we will have anything extra on 21st october. And remember HOMELAND is not in HD on RTE TWO HD!!

    Ist his still receivable in south wales and what is the frequency for a solo 2?

    I will test my set up next week but the triax ka band is now £124.00 and the inverto £99 !!! People here ein ireland are having difficulty getting a good enough signal since some changes in July 20.
