    Echostar dsb 2200

    Good Evening

I hope someone can help me with a problem that has just started with my Echostar, I have been using the Echostar DSB 2200 for positioning my dish it has one single coaxial cable to the motor and now it will no longer work it won't power up it just gets a bliking display then goes dead, i have a dreambox and i would like to be able to purchase a stand alone positioner for it, can anyone please tell me what i need to drive my motor with just a single coaxial cable

Why not use the dreambox itself? Does it have any problems turning the motor?

    Hi Springer

Does the Dreambox supply power via the coax cable i thought it only supplied power to 36 volt motors my motor is a hh motor that was operated by my Echostar receiver coax cable to motor then a short cable from motor to LNB

    Cheers
    Doc

Yes it does Doc. But you will have to find and save satellites again.

You're right SatPaul. I should have mentioned USALS but I thought it would be better for Doc to use same system he was using with his Echostar. But you're right, USALS is much simpler.
