Help please guys re telnet/ftp password reset?

I have unfortunately sold my AZ on, but the person who purchased it is having trouble with connecting by telnet/ftp. I have tried to give him what I think maybe the password, but he says it doesn't work.

So, is there a way to reset this?

the way i would do it is to backup channs plugins to usb and do a factory reset
sets it back to root azbox then restor chan plugins

Thanks, but he is saying the factory reset is not resetting the password, which I really don't understand!??

Anyone else any ideas?

download latest firmware to usb put it in and reboot and up date will lose all channels but they can be scaned back in this will rest it back to root azbox

Just a thought is ftp/telnet enabled in settings network.
