Hfmls said there would be a statement from opensat at the weekend.
also said he thinks might be a new firmware.
its only saturday.
Also did not guarentee firmware just his thoughts.

hfmls stated that he had it from a good source that it would be released this weekend and on wednesday said 3 days to go so was assuming by that he meant - from very good source = reliable and when he said 3 days to go = saturday! maybe i misread there somewhere? anyway jist of what we are asking is any word on firmware?

i heard from a guy taht heard from another one that talked to someone in opensat.
almost everytime this sources are 100% accurate...so.....there's still time. if no firmware isn't coming this weekend, oh well.

lol if you had said that at the beginning then there would be no prob but sure if it doesnt come this weekend will not be surprising as many promises by opensat have fallen by wasteside. hope its worth waiting for though! i understand now that you don't have a source at opensat hfmls but like you say just heard from a guy that knows a guy that prob doesn't know a guy that maybe knows a guy but hopefully they are right. ofh and xanandu i'm sorry if red upset you -- i an understand that those words would be quite upsetting and rude being in a differnent colour - sorry for any offence the discolouration caused to you

no worries hfmls i like you like everyone here hope so too. we normally get them every 2 weeks so theoretically that should be next few days so fingers crossed!
some people are never happy unless they are complaining!! some people struggle to be constructive and helpful.
Part of the function of a forum must be to pass information, if a user had 'persistantly' posted incorrect information, then nobody would listen to them. i do not recall hfmls being a persistant offender? Other readers can do what they wish with the information. Constantly picking and complaining does not help anyone. If people are looking for an argument they should not join a forum!
Any information, if it is a rumour, good or bad is welcome as in a lot of cases it is right, and if it is wrong well hey!! we didn't miss anything. A forum cannot act as though every piece of information it gets must be factual and proven, we are in the business of discussion here. Anything people think maybe relevant should be posted. Discussion does not mean attacking another user for providing what they think maybe relevant.
