E2 on AzBox is trough FB . We are using Framebuffer device driver coded by the_ripper.

We are NOT using Direct Frame Buffer.

DFB is used on Qbox HD Enigma 2

the receiver fails to get ip from router....
what xanadu suggested is all you can do....

Have you checked your cabling?
have you tried any other usb stick?
In an other usb port?
you never know.....

well try other usb pen, and keep trying, turn off azbox for half a day, unplug cable from wall...
i see many cases where it didn't work and then it worked..etc

please, if you are just a novice user, do not attempt to upgrade to E2. Just wait till a release is made that allows easy upgrade that even novices users cant have problems with.
All you are doing is causing more questions, simple and complex, that is time consuming and the few coders we have do not not neeed to be distracted with this. PLEASE, JUST WAIT.

As long as their receiver recognises a USB memory stick with patch.bin, and can obtain/access the receiver with IP address, so they can use AZUP to install any new patch.bin file on the USB
