opps, just posted in the Eth thread.
going good £1000 worth of HNT in 30 days. Helped that there are about 30 other miners in range to connect to reap the poc rewards. Wont be anywhere nears as good come August though when they halve the HNT rewards, that and more miners piling onto the network reducing cake for everyone.
Halving is now in. 2.5 million HNT per month now for the next 2 years. After you factor in the validators share and other rewards going to the devs etc that leaves 1.4 million HNT per month to be distributed to the miners. Currently 104k miners on the network.
have you upgraded your antenna? ive got a 4.2dbi and an 8dbi rak antenna. Moved into the loft to max the beaconing but im still tempted install it outside as the signal is being blocked serverly to the sides due to the concrete walls. Signal has no trouble penetrating forward trough the roof tiles though.Quote:

if you can clear roof tops you should send your signal way out. Not sure if my 4.2 is being hindered with the 5m cable it came with. They recommend lmr 400 and to keep the cable as short as possible. the Rak came with a short a **** cable so not much loss on that but the N connector is reversed so i cant swap antennas without using an adaptor.Quote:

Another lost day , box did an update overnight got home to find blue lights mad it does not reboot itself after an update .
So i though may as well fit the new antenna going to take day or 2 to resink in again.
Pulled it down only to find one antenna male other female :D back up with the original :D

Today has been another bad day ,yesterday $28 today $5 , so i decided to swap 9dbi , to the custom 5.8. also found the fast sync on linxdot .
Maintenance again tonight so see how it goes tomorrow.
must have been another update my bobcat has lost sync 12 hours a go :( annoying knowing its $$$ down the ****ter. was way worse when it was making £80 a day and there was no fast sync option though.Quote:

Yep last sunday best day ever about $37 today zero , the only upside todays update took minutes , usually a shut down next day , but still flatlining :D
apparantly 3.5million helium miners on back order. how the hell are they ever going to see a return on invesment? since the last update my earning have gone to ****.
Its the most unpredictive thing ive ever seen , you never know from one day to the next what its going to make or even stay on line .
you have no chance on putting up a new antenna and now its going to make more money , 2 days ago went offline at 11pm no idea why took me almost 24 hours to get it back online (after realising it was off ) then a few hours for it to rsync even after a fast resync .
Helium miner , i think they should rename them Sloth Miner :D
added a airbuddy amp and saw filter to hopefully increase the amount of hotspots witnessed. The amount of miners on the network is on the up but the witnessing has tanked over the last few weeks.
cant tell if its making more or not as the network is all over. Witness back on the increase atm so will give it another week.
