OnDemand plugin devixified and working on all images

Heres the Ondemand plugin that previously only worked on VIX images

they used existing plugins for ITVplayer BBCiplayer ect and packaged them in this one container plugin,then claimed the plugin as their own and edited the files in such a way that they then only ran on the VIX image.

these files have now been vastly edited by Subixonfire,Saintomer,Cokeaddict and Myself to now run on any image.
Many new files and their dependencies that are needed for it to run have also been included in the ipk's and the ipk's themselves were created by Ten Below as we couldnt get them to work properly.

i hope now that ALL users enjoy this plugin and not just the VIX users that the OE Alliance edited the plugin to only work with.

also i forgot to mention that the great thing about this version is that its not geo locked.

this means that anyone in Spain or wherever can now use the BBCiplayer and ITVplayer plugins without the need for any proxies or dns nameservers inserted into their boxes,and we ourselves can fully use the RTEplayer and 3player plugins from here in the UK.

ive stupidly added the wrong 3player file into the files in the ipk's

that file doesnt have the straight off the telly fix in it.

so heres the one that does have it.

ftp the threeplayer.py file to

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OnDemand/

and overwrite your existing threeplayer file,then restart you gui

EDIT: i posted the wrong version as i was in a rush.please re download cokeaddicts file as this is the correct version
and instal it the same way as before.
the version i posted will cause gsod because its just for BP

I greatly admire all the hard work that you do for us here Ian. Do you know of any likelihood that this may be modded for DB's as well? Cheers - Brain

Here is the version thats been edited and will work with BH without a GSOD

please use cokeaddicts version of the new threeplayer.py

i uploaded the wrong version that works in my box but not in BH.

ok two new ipk's that this time 100% overwrite existing files if they are already installed in peoples boxes.

they dont however have the latest 3player fix in them so please download and send over cokeaddicts 3player file and overwite your existing 3player file after installation

if you already have the plugin installed you dont need these.
these are just for people who are struggling to install using the first set of files.

Apologies guys, i had that many folders on my destop i must have sent the wrong file in, here is another 2 ipk's with cokeaddicts 3player fix included.

it wasnt your fault buddy.it was my mistake.
i sent you the wrong files,the ones i sent to you didnt have the latest 3player fix and edit in them.i really must tidy up my desktop.

Hi. I copied the .ipk file to /tmp directory, ran it (green then blue buttons) changed .py file, rebooted reciever, VU+ Uno, but the Ondemand plugin doesn't appear when I press the green button.

Have I done something wrong?

Which image are you using pixey ?

ten below i installed your enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand-oe1.6_beta1_all.ipk
in post ten
on my dm800
i get no module named zlib

ondemand doz not show in the plugin menu

Try this one

ok zlib is not a module that i sourced because its a codec and lives in

/usr/lib/python2.6/encodings/

these codecs come standard in VU+ images but obviously not in the DB
this could be due to the fact that the earlier 800's cannot decode avi's

can someone try this on a later DB that does indeed decode avi's ?

but regardless of this you can no doubt install this module from your images packet feeds,if the above file posted by sonic doesnt work for your type of box.

can you please reboot then press menu followed by plugins and report the error that your box is complaining about ?

your running quite an old image then as the python version is older than the file sonic posted.

try to install zlib from your packet feeds.
