Would you mind uploading your kernel source dir somewhere?
I have set up my cross compiler, however to compile the lirc kernel modules i need the exact sources. I already tried the wdtv kernel sources, which do compile. But thet give a struct_module when I tried to load any kernel module.

Here it is, I compiled module, I hope it will work, dont have a time to check it.
EDIT: Added lirc_dev and lirc_sir KO modules
