Hello
Run the new version with the CI-Module?
Is it possible to record the FTA channels?
Goodmorning
Can this new version make my dinner and keep the children quiet.
Thank you to all that have created this great work. I have 1.0.25 installed and seems to have a lot of potential. I have great hopes for this project but I can not test because I am over here at 82W and there is no way to add a sat or change transponders or lnb settings of the ones listed. If the sat list can be expanded in the near future it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :hurray:
For info
It was not easy to do update
namely the update from the old E2 to the new E2 version to me was not possible.I tried several times and with different USB sticks.
After update with the original FW and after with the new E2 version was OK.
The biggest plus for me is that the HD (I have test on einfestivalHD 19.2 E) have better picture quality than the original FW.

diseqc not run;
ca not run;
hd (mkv) not run;
Hd channel ok;
sd channel ok;
divx avi ok;
thanks E2 Team;
Could you someone confirm that HD channels works on dvb-s2 transponders aswell ?
Btw big thanks for outstanding new E2 release!
As a member of azbox community who follows this E2 thread but cannot installl and try it on his own azbox (because it's beeing used heavily by my family and I cannot interrupt its usage) I need some reviews from the guys who tried this.
- How is the picture quality (ie. SD channel upscale performance or HD quality) of this E2 release when comparing it with old official firmware?
- Are there any channel switch speed with FTA channels and channel browser responsiveness improvement?
Thanks for sharing your opinions..
And of course great thanks to E2 Team !!!
Can anybody confirm that the satellite scan is working or not?

Wireless for Premium and Premium+
Thanks to joseba for providing and compiling driver !
Download archive attached to my post, unzip it, and transfer whole folder wlan by FTP to /tmp folder on Your receiver
Connect to Your receiver by telnet and execute this commands :
mkdir -p /etc/Wireless/RT61STA
cd /tmp
cp /tmp/wlan/rt2561.bin /etc/Wireless/RT61STA/
cp /tmp/wlan/rt2561s.bin /etc/Wireless/RT61STA/
cp /tmp/wlan/rt2661.bin /etc/Wireless/RT61STA/
cp /tmp/wlan/rt61sta.dat /etc/Wireless/RT61STA/rt61sta.dat
dos2unix /etc/Wireless/RT61STA/rt61sta.dat
cd /lib/modules/2.6.22.19-19-the_ripper/kernel/
mkdir drivers
cd drivers
mkdir net
cd net
mkdir wireless
cp /tmp/wlan/rt61.ko /lib/modules/2.6.22.19-19-the_ripper/kernel/drivers/net/wireless
modprobe rt61
cd /tmp
wget http://oozoon-dreamboxupdate.de/open...-r5_mipsel.ipk
ipkg install wireless-tools_29-r5_mipsel.ipk ( If error appear dont worry :) )
ifconfig ra0 192.168.1.22 up ( my gateway is 192.168.1.1, so i put ifconfig ra0 192.168.1.22 up )
iwlist ra0 scanning ( this will list available networks in your range )
output will be something like this :
Code:root@AZBox:/tmp# iwlist ra0 scanning

@atoth73:
No. DVB-S2 is not working here.
anyone tested any emu as server, newcs, cccam , mbox?
Internal cardreader is functioning for newcs for example? If so how do we make the config of the card in newcs?
Picons are working?
@moicas3004
Few logs line from CCcam on Azbox.
Internal card reader doesnt work, it isnt on my priority list for the moment.
