Oke , i have 1.00.27 installed i have diseqc working on 13. 19.2 23.5 and 28.2/5. Did auto scan and i got 4944 channels. So thats working. I got sound on HD channels but i have to lucky te get sound but watching eurosport Hd dutch and everything is oke.

The only thing i wish for now is that de rc keymap could be as on the old AZBox FW. Also the time for audio sync is off, but i know your are working hard on that. CCcam is opening all channels, thats working like a charm.

The stability is oke but not rock solid, something the box locks and the 2 screws/bolts stay on the screen turning forever, only solution the hold power button to reboot.

But i'm really impressed by e2 channels switch is really fast and cccam is much better as multicas.

Just feedback , if this helps.

My Azbox is also old one, from march 2009, before CI-fix.
I have been able to watch channels with all versions before 1.0.27. Only this version started to show black screen , but as said earlier it recovers after reboot.

On the other hand scanning results with 1.0.27 are , I think, as they should be, channels are found. earlier versions got lower numbers of scannels found.
The difference is much more than the numeber of DVB-S2 scannels.

1.0.27 found also 12441 BBCi channels , which none of the earlier versions did not.

This is going very fast! :D Let's wait for dvb-t support soon or at least support dual tuner dvb-s/t without the need to disconect the dvb-t

Anyway this is still a test version, not even a beta so great work

I have just tested 1.0.27 and I cant get it to find any channels when scanning. SNR always at 99% though.
I do have a 1/8 switch and have set the tuner settings exactly the same as I have in my DM800. I have also tried to set it to a single LNB, but still no channels found.

I also tried replacing the files cx24116.ko and em8634dvb.ko but still the same.
Then I tried the other tip, to go back to 1.0.25 and replace the files, enigma2 - Tunerinfo.py and cx24116.ko (following Mickeysa's description). But still no channels found, and SNR still at 99%.
And with this 1.0.25 version I cant get signal on the HDMI output, only scart. I had HDMI output on 1.0.27.

But still I'm impressed just to se that the enigma2 is running quite well on the Azbox Premium, and will test next version soon :)

thx, i'm well aware of how to recover with serial via YAMON prompt. I was just highlighting that no-one on this site has demonstrated that they have sucessfully used the JTAG interface, although its often suggested as a method to recover.

This conversation may be better in a seperate thread as its not directly related to E2, although it was raised because the box was stuck in "booting".

Of course on this site no one demonstrated this, but i have posted links to pristavka.de (you have to use google translate if you don't understand russian ;-) ). There everything is do***ented quite well including flashing NOR with JTAG interface. And I can assure you that flashing with JTAG is possible !
But before that - it is better to be sure that Yamon is broken...
Can you post a log from console ? (May be in different thread?)

You must read the thread,because it was asked before,and the answer is NO,recording to internal or external hdd is not possible yet.
Is something that will be worked on in the future.

I can answer this on behalf of MickeySa and it's no, because if there was a fix it would have been already posted for you to test.

I am patiently waiting for a + driver to be completed, but realise asking about it won't make it arrive quicker, I check the post since the last time I was logged on and if it ain't there it ain't ready!!

I assume the reason he is asking is that MickeySa said that there whould be a fix posted last night! and it did not come so he is asking if there are any news on it!

Yes I assumed that too because I read the same posts, but I also assumed that if there was no fix posted then it hadn't been fixed yet...therefore the post is not reporting a bug or the fix of a previously known bug but really just nuisance posting.

There is fix, it's working, but unfortunately we didnt have a chance to make new E2 image.
I hope today new image will be ready with "sattomy" new gstdvbmedia plugin too.
