can we not just have alocked azbox topic where only them that are working on e2 can keep us updated,so there is no one asking every 2 seconds whens it coming,we have gone with nothing for this box for such along time a few more months wont kil us

Well back on topic then:

Do you leave usb stick in Azbox after updating to E2,
in other words after flashing when box reboots leave usb stick in box.

Now box is booting in recovery mode and will give you ipnumber in display
Start up AzUp on PC and then insert ipadress and click update
E2 will now be installed

Superbe work @The_Ripper - but I would prefere a vmlinux to boot all from HDD or usb stick.
Could you please post one for me (it should also have nfs compiled).
I still think that this is the better way to test E2 Software; via nfs,hdd or usb and not flash.

at me still not succes i have try many, what i saw it their or not come recovery mode just geeko : p and nothing happned.in LAN i saw it 2 led open but nothing said it just geeko :p i try format it still not succes!

Agree on the Job, but....

Disagree on the multiboot option, it's a pain in the %SS on other platforms then DMM native

Also it not done i want to back to Orginale also what i have make it

1. i download file E2_1.0.21_elite_premium then first i didn format it it was empty USB 256 MB and copy patch in USB-root

2. Power off from Azbox put USB in Azbox,then power on

3. i did format Applicat then go update after update they self make reboot

4. it upgrade still 100% done then automatic reboot

5. after i saw on VFD it show geeko :p

later i try many and i did make USB format with 32 copy patch again it is still some geeko :p

you have to use the windows software AZup after the first reboot. Read the instructions........

Steps:

usb with image
turn on the box
install normaly as the original firmware.
reboot
still usb in the box
vfd geeko
use azup in windows , put the box ip and update
e2 instaling
reboot
all ok

Not the usb must be formated in fat32

to return to oringinal firm, just replace the patch.bin in the usb, insert the usb on the box an turn the box on, goes to recovery mode, use Azup in windows and update

how many time i can explain again it still show geeko on display not come from recovery mode and i did make with fat 32

only not show recovery mode just geeko over 1 hour

umm now gui is speedy but im not sure it will be speedy like that if it has audio/video

Installed on Azbox Ultra and it gets to a startup screen with occasional blinking spinning gears but thats it and doesn't load. Appears this test version only for the Elite/Premium and not the Premium+? Previously, Premium+ required a different version which is also probably needed for Ultra. Will next release, test or beta, include version for Premium+? Thank you for the AZup utility which makes restoring firmware an easy process.
