must be the wrong version or file then for you image (what is it by the way)
just ftp into usr/lib/python and remove the offending files.
to know exactly what these are,just extract sonics ipk using 7zip
then restart again and all should be as it was.

Works Fine on my 8000 running oozoon 0E1.6 had to manualy put the files in place as the installer wouldnt work.

For users of the New Black Hole OE2 images I have repacked with the fix and added it to the BH adddons server so a few button presses and you have it.
To remove just use the BH uninstall panel.
Can this be installed on an Azbox running enigma 2. The reason I ask is that I tried to install but when I go to my plugins I get the following message " some plugins are not available:Extensions/OnDemand/No module named dns.resolver "

nowt on the DM500HD - running OE2 with Merlin3
doesn't GSOD, get all the menus, just no output.
More playing to do ....
changed image to openpli-2.1-beta-dm800-20130123-sim2-ssl84b.nfi
got module errors so i installed these 3 files to /usr/lib/python2.6
htmlentitydefs.pyo
HTMLParser.pyo
markupbase.pyo
got all the menus
but no streams worked
installed this
gst-rtmp-support_2.4-r0_mipsel.ipk
working perfect on dm800

Hi Ian, yes working now. Well BBC iplayer is, I had to go out and didn't get a chance to try itv player or the others.

@Ozzsurf - as you were so where do I find the gts-rmtp thingy? All seems fine and listings but Iplayer not running it goes to set bitrate and none of them clear. Many thanks - brain
Just to add to my questions thought I would summarise for DB users. Use appropriate 1.6 or 2.0 file for your image.
Open up the files and install manually following path as given with each entry. Make sure permissions are correct - i have set files to 755 and scripts to 644.
Go to plugins on box - error message will tell you which files are missing - they are on here - so just download them and open each and also manual install with correct permissions. restart GUI as needed - I have got 3 player running and all lists for the others - this bitrate thing is the only stumbling block and hopefully the gts-rmtp will be the final key. It is happily sitting in plugins atm and no errors other than bitrate. Hope this helps - cheers - brain

Thanks for your quick response - all lists load up and 3 player plays BUT still cant get past bitrate screen on iplayer and 'quality' on ITV player - am I doing something very wrong here - it all looked so promising till now. - Cheers - Brain

i had same problem with my dm800
with dream elite phoenix edition
so i changed image to
openpli-2.1-beta-dm800-20130123-sim2-ssl84b.nfi
now all works
It may then depend very much on image rather than the insert - I am on New enigma latest and so this may be the problem - will keep playing and perhaps someone else may come up with the final piece of the jigsaw - LOL - Brain
