How far off are we at getting CCCam running with this? am holding off until this is working. I would be happy to test the beta once this is implemented. Is there any progress on this E2 team :respect-055:

I put the new driver and I do not I have a satellite channel search engine and fixed to the Astra I have right now. In contrast with the old driver if I was looking for channels.

as i understand you have to make the channel search with the OLD driver. and AFTER the search is finished, you can replace the old driver with the new one

that's pretty awsome. faster then dm800.

some users said with previous driver you could do the channel scan, and with new driver you could watch FTA channels.

or you can just use new driver and use a normal enigma2 channel list.
send it via dreamset or so.

channel lists on motorized dishes

Hello to everybody :)
I have a motorized dish and i've sent to the box "vhannibal motor channel list for e2".
But reload command does't go well.
I rebooted the box but i can't see the new channel list?
My question is:
For this version of e2 is possible to send customized channel lists?
Or is possible only to activate "default channel list" activating it on the box menu?
Other question:
If i have a motorized dish, is possible to see fta channels with default channel list?If yes, what i have to configure to make it possible?

to get chans working with new driver
u could send an updated e2 chanel list ,i used dreambox edit
u can do this
dm500 chan list,open up dbe open chan list change from type2,e1 to type 4 e2 then save ,then send over to az ,works a treat

I uploaded a channel list from DM800 and i got audio/video :D
But i can't seem to get ITV HD and BBC HD.....
anyone know when we can expect CCcam ? :D

i'm almost sure other tunners support will only come after current dvb-s2 s stable enough.

Hello I am new I can not set the decoder, I have a dual feesds hotbirth 13 ° and 19 ° astra with two runs, it tells me line failure, please help me, are in trouble, and another thing I wanted to ask if you could put the pluging of the DM800 ?????

Here's nothing new. I've tried to use previous driver to make channel search and then i put the new one... but nothing. New driver just doesn't work with my premium... If anyone knows how to do please talk.. for CCcam i use CCcam 2.1.1 on my Azs (with original fw). It's only a folder with everything inside.... I see no reason for not working just with a script even in enigma fw.. its a CCcam.mipsel so it would work... dvbapi_module was rewritten for using with original fw but with E2 maybe it just works, or I'm wrong? Tonight I will try.. Now I've reloaded original fw, but tonight a new session of benchmarks.. :respect-048:

with the new driver, my elite has no audio and no video on astra 19,2...the epg does not work any more and the clock will not be set automaticly....with the old driver the clock an the epg work.

ERROR MESSAGE:
no data on transponder
timeout reading PAT

has someone an idea?

I used DM800 channel list and dreambox edit to transfer to box an after that i got audio and video with new driver on Astra2

Try to download any dreambox channel list (from a DM800, for exemple), transfer it to azbox using dreambox edit and then try again and see if you got audio/video (like andriorn did).

So... it seems that with this driver all FTA channels are working ok, if we put a channel list from the outside (from a DM800 or other enigma2 dreambox or from a downloadable ch. list from a forum or something like that).

If anybody with a motor dish (or using multiple satellites), can test all that and also 4:2:2 and HD feeds/channels, just to see if is all ok. :)

i´am only wondering why the service scan isn´t working any more. without the new driver the scan works perfect, also the epg and the clock ( these things aren´t important.....i am only wondering...)ac3 audio is not running at the moment...BUT it´s great to see that enigma2 can be run on the azbox..thank you very much

Hello,

I returned to the previous published em8634dvb.ko upgrade (lost somewhere in this too long thread). Do a scan to get the channels.

Put the Azbox into standy.

Replace the em8634dvb.ko with the latest one, reboot it and then I can watch the Hotbird FTA channels.

But indeed with this driver, clock is not set, no EPG.
I feel also that the DiseqC is not really working but i will further investigate this point.

does it start?
I m not asking if it can decode coz obviously it won t ...
I m just asking if it runs and connects to the server....

I m using azbox as my main stb so I can t test things frequently coz kids get mad.... :)

astra 19,2
no diseqc

but, my box runns 30 min before(!) the epg etc works(!)....and i copied the channel list of my dm800 at first startup. now i have reset the box (factory reset) and the service scann is running ( only dvb-s, NOT dvb-s2 !!) network search possible

Hello,

Congrats to The_Ripper and his team for E2 test release :king-041: .

Unfortunately I cannot test for the time being since I have a premium plus.

If I followed threads correctly, only 720p video output is supported correctly for now.
Do you, guys, plan to release E2 version with 1080p when we have a stable enough E2? As you may know dm800 max resolution is 1080i, so 1080p is one of the biggest advantage of Azbox over DM.

i already tested in first beta, like over one month ago cccam, also in latest beta and i told you guys it runs natively and its detected as dm7025.

once we have scrambled channels working, cccam will decode it.
