PS: The only official info I get is denying all the rumours about E2 dont know what official info you have that says otherwise...if so why do you all insist in fueling the E2 theme if there are no official press from Opensat or FatGiant saying the opposite?

I note that the typer work in different development teams. not confused. and I hope that you listen for God was a sign that my work was less both developing and these small delays that prevent us work such as following links about blanc:nopity:.

Just one correction leao6, I dont work for any team, I'm a regular user like most of you. I happen to have some skills in Linux and DVB, not the same as being part of a team or having inside informations on whatever matters the boxes.

sorry, but I see so everybody mixed up in teams thought that you were more one. you're right that you can not play but as the rfdomingos already realized this is a way of trying to fill the empty space on the schedule until it restored the program signal E2 :respect-059::respect-059:

Since you say that you have some skills in linux, why are you wasting time to discourage the others.... can't you help hobyist & developers to improve fw for the box?

While most of azusers are hoping soon a better fw, even with some serious developers show up from time to time confirming (at least) that they are working on the developement of a better fw..... or implementing e2.....
The only thing they need is time & encouragement (since obviously, I don't think that anyone from those who criticise them... can do anything positive to their job).

Can't we be more positive? or at least more patient?
Don't we have any other comments but selling the box? or buying a vu+?
Unless it does not arrange some people these news (or rumours, call it what you want) about e2.
I personaly decided since yesterday pm to wait & still believe that valuable developers like "The ripper - kanber_kav... and others are not wasting time like we are.

In fact I am not asking to be patient towards opensat, since I believe like you and many others that they did not give enough suport to their fw & even they didn't respect their promisses.
I am asking to be patient with the developers who are working on E2.

Guys the receiver have made a lot of progress and working fine with the latest 0.9.4690 firm. Everythink working perfect.
The only think azbox needed in compare to e2 is multilanguage epg ,more info to skins and for some CCcam as emu.At the speed part azbox is at the same level as dm800 and believe or not it has better stability and potentials.
I personaly believe that we don't need e2 but a better personalization capability to the receiver (with plugins -skins- emus).Lets be pointed to this and leave enigma2 project behind ,it is not something special. The only remarkable think to enigma projects is the e1 speed and nothing else.


Do you believe that windows is better than macos; Tha is kind of what we are talking about.

It,s only your opinion... Because the Direct frame buffer is a great alternative por me. And also the DVBapiCAS recording in cccam mipsel Is a great advance.

Point n.1 I never discouraged anyone I just think its worse to feed a thread or theme that even oficial sources say that AT PRESENT it will not be done...
Point n.2 You are very distracted because in the time I had the box, I allways fought for solving the problems it had, although our range could not be big because the firmware as you all know is closedsource! Eventhough, the biggest research and improvements in mediaplayer were made by users (where I was included), so if that isnt doing anything and supporting the box I dont know what it is...
Kudos for devs like The Ripper, and others that have done so much for this box, but I dont think they deserve what some people does to them when posting here giving hope and throwing dates for something that isnt consistent at the moment, and we dont know when will.
Then posting logs and links to sites and threads that date from June2009, all that only has one consequence the descredit of the people connected to the developpment of the box and people around them that are posting things that dont see the daylight...It happened before, it happens again now, perhaps it will even continue to happen...but till then lets wait and dont post fake/outdated/empty info, because that only worsen things!

yes it has DTS sound drops, and some files dont play with sound m2ts mostly from BR Rips and BR Remuxes. But some people works like this, they might be starving but if you ask them they tell you they had a pretty good meal! :D :D :D :D :D
