I have some problems with understanding the startup process of E2 on the AZBox.
I spent some time to get it but with not much success.

once E2 software had been installed do we need to do a comlpete rescan of all sats and then create new favorite's lists ?

i install 3 times with all respect for the totos and i uncoment and coment for prmuim+ because my box is mprmui= but doest work i do all but i get on vfd 100% and on my tv runing two circle by the ways i have dreambox 8000 hd but on my azbox premuim plus i get black sreen my question is that only for premuim and not for prmuim plus and why they do not one appart for premuim plus because with totos comment and uncoment work also not

So I managed to get the files with flashing the E2. I'm impressed!
But I would advice to replace the readme in the package.
- All files have to be copied to the USB stick
- The stick must be left in the box while first booting
- If you have Problems with the AZSetup, wait until you have received a dhcp address and then use a crossover RJ45 cable to connect direct to the PC. The PC is setup manually with IP of eg the Router.
With these it is no Problem to get it running.
I'll now have a look at the files in the image to get them on HDD.

The update process told me to have a wrong image when I only had the patch.bin on the stick.
Then I put all files
AZUp setup.exe
patch.bin
Readme.txt
on the stick an all other files removed. I know it sounds strange but it worked with this.
Maybe you try to only have one file on the stick - the patch.bin to get it working. Remove all other files from the stick you had before.
A good thing is that if you have the new kernel installed and get only the "geko :P", it is only needed to have the stick in the box and reboot. After that you have access via telnet and ftp to the box!

Yes, after the first reboot (stick still in) you have to use AZup. In the display of the AZBox you see the IP to put in the filed on AZup. It is all written somewhere here.

This is an english only speaking thread, so no french allowed here.
Moreover Vinz6418 give a wrong information, the version that allow you to have image on FTA channels is not yet release.
So today if you have the boat image, and 100 on the VFD simply press Menu on the RCU and you will have access to the Menu.

At the moment the restore is not working here because AZup sais the patch.bin is not supported. I'm using new 0.9.5020 .
It is not that bad for me, because I can boot the original kernel via tftp. As a workaround I changed y.start to get the kernel from tftp.
Anyone an idea what can cause AZup to tell me this?

Comment insmode line below # Elite/Premium with character #.
Uncomment insmod line below #Premium+ , save file and overwrite existing file on STB.
Now, switch off and switch on Your Premium+, and You should have GUI and everything on Your Premium+ .
The problem is just as Elite/Premium are using Sil9030 HDMI Chip, and Premium is using Sil9134 . So it is same procedure to get it working on AzBox Ultra HD.

On premium+ E2 crash on frontend/NIM reading because receiver use STV0903/STV6110 not cx24116,so full E2 boot process failed.
All users must wait for this driver ...
