AFN is changing key about every 3 hours.

AFN clearing and auto updating for me,,,took just a couple of minutes,,,,,using ncam 5.5,,,with open pli

Just a small observation.
This afternoon AFN was waiting for the auto update to do it's thing,I noticed that the Radio Station AFN Gravity was still working in a free to listen mode,(nothing else open),I left it on there and with in 5 mins or so,the auto update had done it's job and the other AFN Chls were open AFN Gravity is still free to listen.
Perhaps all a coincidence.

A.F.N seems to be down on chinese boxes,,,,,not clearing for me on golden v8,,,,,,,
been reading that a new hashmode #16 has been implemented,,,,,,bloody typical,,,,i get a chinese box for a.f.n and one week later it,s down,,,,software update needed,,hopefully in the next week or two
I am not totally convinced that PV is down on the Chinese boxes as such.
I have two different boxes and they are not currently updating anything unless it is an old known key, it seems.
So I think it remains to be seen if PV is truly down on Chinese boxes. We need the server up and running properly for that to be the case.

I can now confirm that the server is back up but AFN is not clearing on Chinese boxes. At least not on my two.
Other PV packages are clearing.
Tested BISS China Server Still Down [ 3 weeks now ] Key Not Found this morning @ IMGA EU
Tested on WWE Weekly Wrestling Feed @ 7 East and still BISS Key Failed to be found .
AFN Also Fail to work ..Tested on my Starsat 2000 HD Hyper

My box has just now auto updated the Powervu keys for 4.8 east.
AFN is down and maybe new software will take a few weeks but I am confident it will arrive and AFN will clear again.
I don't watch AFN hardly at all so it makes very little difference to me when new software is available.
These boxes are not a waste of money and are excellent value if they give you what you want, but not everybody wants what they give, if you see what I mean.

There is simply no point buying these cheap boxes that at first offer something then 7 days later its gone !!
If more people stop wasting money and stop paying for nonsense private commercial hacks then perhaps genuine boxes will again be supported i simply refuse to buy any box that can and will only offer a weeks viewing at best .

i am old world and have never tried the iptv option,have loads of old receivers ,cams,programers ,decoders going back to the 1980s.will have to learn that option one day.

ok so GTmedia V8 Nova opened AFN for a few more weeks that i mentioned and likely will again
for another month or two until another new Hash mode is inserted and the process begins again
but i guess for a few quid it may be worthwhile if support continues
i would prefer if Oscam,Vplug etc.. could also get this " fix " that way everyone could be happy ..

have 11434 but not clearing live log going emulator then lines then emulator and so on something must be missing,have rebooted now on livelog keys for afn are being found but still no picture
Make sure you have the latest version with the powerview with hashmode 15 and 16, the image I was using has 11434 but it did not clear so I downloaded the latest version (something like version 772) and installed it via ipk. I used the old auto configs from june and afn was clearing last night and so was gg tv on 4.8e.Quote:
