What image do you have loaded, and which version?
I'm not sure what you are doing wrong.
I think the reason you couldn't see the picons in the plugins is that you have already have them loaded on your box.

it looks like this is the ipk file allready on the box from 2017

theres a few missing so i just want to add the missing ones manually or whatever

Yes. Upzip it and send it anywhere. So when you are in DCC you have all the picons from your box on the LH side. Then open the file where you have the downloaded picons on the RH side. Then highlight to picon you want and click on the arrow to send it across. From Left to Right.
right ladsssssssssssssssss getting somwhere!!!!!!!!!! i had to download the dcc enigma version, so ive got it in the right hand side now, yipeeeee, when i choose the picon i want am i choosing from the logo folder or the list thats displayed already?

now the damn software is freezing evertime i try to do somthing Dcc error 10057
right i tranfered the hgtv logo across and it shows in the left side pane now of Dcc but on the box it does not show, i restarted GUI and i restarted the box also. any ideas guys.
could it be because its a different style i already have on the box which is called dark on blue.
It should be there. No need to restart GUI. Reconnect DCC and try again.
I done that already it didn’t work, I’m transferring the whole folder now from the picon website,it seems to be transferring but taking a long time. Fingers crossed this time 😜
Right the folder seems to have downloaded on the left hand side of dcc but not showing in box
