Hello there is an important question once got into the firmware or the beta enigma2 at the deco can then easily image opensat or will be a complicated for the deco theme.

i don't see anybody defending opensat..i personally, like hundreds of users take 0 in consideration about their programming and support methods, it's the worst there is.

What is the use of screenshot anyone can create screenshot using paintshop until u see the s/w no one is going to believe azbox lies....

guys with doubts,try to imagine this:

first, we have a .bin file, azbox hd firmware right?
if we decompress it, we have the filesystem, folders, etc.
if we change some stuff and compress it again, we end up with a firmware like KGD team has.

now imagine we remove all the files necessary for the original azbox hd GUI
and we put enigma 2 GUI, we can now create .bin file and flash azbox hd.


PROBLEM is, how to compile this .bin. enigma2 bin is made with a crosstool, simple. But for that we have to link modules:
and this has to be private
modules are xxx.ko i dont know azbox hd filesystem, but there should be a file (where all the interest is) where drivers conect to dvb, and this should (IS) be the part opensat is slipping under the table.. :)

as raskino said...dvbapi is done.

from my sources they are finishing:

tuner driver
directFB

i dont know why all this speculation, isnt it better to wait for day D. What happens is there a prob. and they dont release it in 1-2 monts.

My biggest hope is that lan speed and usb speed is fixed and that using dvb-api the elite/premium will be able to work as a twin (not that I need twin) tuner (as I think it can really do this by hw).

But for e2 coming I say; those who live will see.

Your holding a grudge against a company yet funnily enough when them rumours came around about D+ was it an official source from Opensat that told you that it was opening D+??? I somehow dont think so fella... IF you have any knowledge of Hardware you would know that the AZbox is not a "****" box... In terms of quality its up there with the best just a shame its software is lagging behind abit... People expect too much too soon. They forget quick... the DM 500 how long did they take to get it to where it is today? We have to give the Teams and Coder's time to do their work! If E2 is on the verge of being release or not i dont know i hope it does but either way the Azbox is still a very good receiver.

i don't have access to that, fortunately there's still some users/admins/contacts/resellers/coders i can trust in internet! and personal.
so yes, my sources, kanber_kav sources, raskino sources, etc etc. ARE SAFE. enigma 2 is coming, only a matter of time now.
