Also I think pr2 is not working directly for OpenSat, but he is a admin at their forum (oddly enough). He complains just like users about bugs...
So therefor I can not see his comments as being official...

Yes I know that, I already said that in this topic ( way in the beginning off this thread).
And again and again.

Also said not to blame OpenSAT when E2 doesn't arrive, it's not on their agenda!!

well after kanber told me i talked to some guys.. they didn't say any date, only said, "this week". day 28 is the last day of the week, so...

also, kanber source is 100% safe

dont mind if it takes some time to be stable. It will just be very very nice to see this box move. And hopefully e2 means moving forward on the TV part.

Opensat can focus on the mutimedia part --> assuming e2 will use opensts binaries for movies etc

Even if it s not stable enough at first,
teams like Nabilo will make it a stable and fast performer really soon....

So we will have a pretty usable azbox till opensat finally get done with the official fw...
(After a year at best)...

It s the best performing enigma2 i ve ever seen...
almost as fast as E1...

As for the mediaplayer side let s first hope that it will include a mediaplayer...

in theory it's like between dm800 and dm8000!
but you never know. could be better, could be worse.

we just have to wait.
i'm excited too, not because it's enigma 2, but because it's linux and opensource.
enigma 2 is kinda good now in kathrein.
now imagina all users azbox hd has (thousands) and all pro coders interested in such a good hardware and cheap receiver.

also! i think major teams/coders are receiving free receivers and all help opensat can give.
for this kudos for opensat.

btw: i think that was a fast "problem" to solve. that's what i was told.

mkv from usb is kinda good now, but net speed it isn't!
