I state that I take responsibility for what I say now and I am also prepared to insults.
After a dialogue with authoritative sources, we can officially say that there is a cvs-based Enigma2 for azbox hd.
The firmware is the final details and will soon light publicly.
On the authorship of the compilation did not want and we can not say much for reasons that many of you know well.

Please look around the web, and see there is now a lot of development with the azbox.
Some try to get the epg work with the tv api
others modify the original firmware
and some try to implant E2 on the box
So stop crying about the box is nothing worth, and put your effords to Opensat to make everything open source...
BUT be patient.....I knew when i bought the box, it was for the real sat hobbyist, and yes with that you know you buy a box which still needs improvement...
Even no linux boxes, made by an A brand manufacturer still needs upgrading the firm...
As example...
Ask in Holland to people who bought a certified receiver for their provider with HD subscription, how long they had to wait when the box was capable to handle full HD (i)
Remember...
DM did get big, because the users believe in it, keeps supporting it.
So support the box, or sell it, and don't even bother it.
For me the box does what i bought it for....2 full hd receiver, and the other specs are extra, and if i look back, still a good price they sell it for.

Now that many developers are trying to implement e2 in this box, please don't post any other negative comment trying to compare this box with pc cards or other boxes or whatever.... this was a kind of offtopic wasting time.

Well hfmls talked about a E2 version wich was already in testfase.
The version wich people post about now isn't even compiled yet so not tested @all.
No dvb-api yet.
First realease within 4 weeks??
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it (within 4 weeks that is).
Only positive thing what these postings has reached is:
Somehow, somewhere more sources got availeble so the "job" could be done ( if the last sources got availeble for creating dvb-api)

First off all I never called hfmls a liar ( thats what you guys make off it ) I only said to him to check his sources.
Secondly if E2 is released within 4 weeks ( even it's a clean working CVS image without any fun things in it ) I will apologize.
So far no need for it, for there's no sign @all off E2 for Azbox so far, you people all forget you need a working dvb-api for it.
Thats not something to make within 2 or 3 weeks without the correct sources ( and even then it would take a lot of work).
So far I only see The_Ripper @ the job, I have contacts with other E2 teams ( more then one ) no one off that teams knows off the excistence off E2 for aZBOX.
If CvS is ready where is it then? So I could compile my own E2

It amuses me greatly to see people ask about Azbox E2, it was never seen on E2 Azbox. Everything that was said was that rumor. In addition there are plenty of receivers that are already running E2, so why take a Azbox if your goal is to run E2?
Then I also want to stop the utopia to think that for E2 just take the source and type make to compile it, the entire driver must be rewritten to accommodate the development kit processor Sigma. The problem is that the development kit from Sigma is not free and freely downloadable! This slows the teams to begin porting E2. There is a kit that was found on the net but using older APIs that used by Azbox.
So even if E2 is focused on Azbox you also spend the same galleys to make everything work properly.
I also note that some crying foul that the source code Azbox is not available but Azbox is bound by confidentiality clauses from Sigma and more without the development kit we know nothing to do.
By cons I am disappointed that, for example among us (we must first put its own house), I have never seen anyone develop a plug-in on Azbox with the SDK and yet everything is available and explanations are on the forum ... So even with tools in hand, developers do not jostle the door for us to develop something correct ...
Minor challenge, why not try to write a correct picture viewer mode plugin (Nano-X), just to show that Azbox was possible to display a jpeg optimization without long and painful?
Only Livetux we developed a program (Windows) to transfer files and convert them to pass. And I take this opportunity to thank him again.
