Addendum to testing RTi 1.0.0 on Azbox Premium +

1. Today I boot up my Azbox and the screen is suddenly colored pink. The movie can be seen but the colors are completely pink.
So I turned the Box into Standby - after awaking the HDMI signal is lost. Have to reboot...

2. After reboot the colors are ok. While the box is booting the VFD shows strange charakters (see attached photo).

3. Booting time from "VFD Ready" to 100% = ~60sec (this is good - my dream 800HD takes a lot of more time)

4. Power measurement while HDD is suspended:
- normal operation (in Watts): 22,5W
- Standby: 15,5W

i ve tested the BETA firmware on elite and premuim . great job guys ;

Addendum 2 to testing RTi 1.0.0 on Azbox Premium +

- while zapping the box causes reproducible a green screen (see crachlogs attached)

- as described in first testing HDMI-signal is lost after estimated ten minutes till one hour of operation. This is reproducible too.

When installed the system clock was running way to fast, one day later its 30 minutes behind? Anyone else got the same problem?

I just tested multimedia from nfs share and this is working. So are most people using usb?

That's interesting...

As for what I read yesterday, it was also attempted by some users by mounting their internal harddisk.

I do assume however you have the same problems selecting a file by using the remote control? Or do you have a different approach?

Would you please share your test results with us?
The easiest way to find the bugs is to analyse these results (descriptions, crash-logs, screenshots etc. etc.).

No, I use an internal HDD from WD. if I switch to internal HDD on the media player he jumps unselect.

I tried to playback movies from HDD I had formerly recorded with original image (*.ts).
That's does not work!

I also tried to playback movies from HDD I have downloaded (*.mkv). My Dream800HD can deal with it, the RTi 1.0.0 not. The screen simply becomes black and the playback time remains on 0:00

What kind of multimedia files you have tested?

can anyone know witch button i press to see epg?

Yes this is a e2 gui problem. I have not worked on this. Not sure why this has a bug currently

Yes, of course. On my box is much more faster. I guess a few hours a day...
Do you have this "hardware acceleration" on original image activated?

Please try "cat /proc/cpuinfo" on telnet and show us the bogomips.

My box have:
Initial BogoMIPS: 342.01

I suppose the differences between this time-bug descriptions depends on it.

I teste avi,mkv, vob, mp3 all from nfs mount.

As for ts files, this is not supported yet. Codec needs te be added. Working on audio channel selection and seeking currently.

Try info-button (the white button with the book on it) and you'll see EPG for the current transmission. Now press yellow and you'll see channel EPG...

If not, you have no EPG data. It's still a bug...

Im using external USB HDD and no go. Doesnt play anyting. The same existed in the version 31, no play in the multimedia.

I'm using internal HDD in Premium model, and the same thing for me too: will not play anything, regardles of the file format. Same error was also in version 31.

Hi

I also tried to play .avi files from usb and nfs share but for me it does not work .
I mount my nfs share trough telnet :
mount -t nfs 192.168.1.14:/d/Downloads /media/net -o nolock,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,in tr

I can see the files but not play them (black screen)
YouTube player does not work also

My box is premium

So you are saying media streaming works ok.

The problem is most are using USB or HDD ext/int and media player does not play anything at all.
