humax 5400

I decided to see if I could get my dads humax 5400 working its been lying in the shed for years.

There loads of other items but not sure what there for yet ?

I was wondering if i can use the box to watch freesat ?

Does the box need some kind of update ?

I have had a good look around the site discovered I can update my box

Can anyone tell me what software I need ? anyone can give me any tutorials etc

This is like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle just looking for the missing pieces
