Is there an alternative that's more stable?
Pm if you can suggest.
Thanks.

Mines mostly ok with just a few blips, which internet provider are you using ? Internet companies that own tv film and sports rights go out of their way to give grief or ban unofficial sources.
Turn off updates on virus s/w and MS and search engines, they all have a list of sites they claim are protecting you from bad places, in other words places they don't approve of, don't store all your data on the HD, use an external one or image your HD, when it goes pear shaped do a restore and then load your files you use daily.
Don't store everything on your HD only.

Hi At this moment in time my IKS on the Spiderbox 6000 has gone down although it was working ok about an hour ago. Wonder if any other members has problems. I think in general with these type of boxes you need two things to make them work properly to begine with ie good internet speed and good signal quality from dish etc.
Regards
Ok. 14 months on..... I’m confused,which don’t take a lot for me.
I understand the way forward now is IPTV as cclines are slowly being shutdown starting with sly.
Is Iks the same as IPTV? I have IKS at present but I want to change from IKS. I’ve been told my 9000HD supports this but I’m not sure if IPTV is ccline based or the type IKS use. Any info as to wether my 9000HD will/how support this will be appreciated.
Thanks
IPTV is via the internet, so no satellite dish required, strictly streaming. The Spiderbox 9000HD doesn't support IPTV, I think you've got it mixed up with the Hitech 9000 receive or the Spiderbox 6000.
Ok thanks for that. What would you consider to be a good IPTV receiver?
I’ve got 2 Mi boxes but I’ve taken Kodi off as the ISP’s are targeting it.

Hi Problem with IPTV is that its not just the box but who supplies you with the service. IPTV is good but not always reliable -will never be as good as satellites were. You can make your own free IPTV lists available all over the web. It can be time consuming but very rewarding if you put the effort in. Regards
Ey up.
Happy New Year to all. I ain’t been on for ages. So busy with work. The taxmans happy.
Yea thanks for that Kara. I’ve let my IKS subs go. They have lost loads of channels including ****.
As you say it can be very rewarding if I put the effort in. Truth is.....I ain’t got the time and I’m a lazy twa*
I’d rather recompense someone who has put the effort in.
