Technomate TM-5402 HD M3 - Sending E2 channel list to box

    Driving me nuts here.

I've put these on box via USB:
    Phantom Patch
    Channel list
    Sea lion

Working fine, I can use cmd to ping the IP address 192.168.1.149 and getting a response.

Using the below programs, I can't connect to the box to send my own preferred channel list (vhannibal):
VUCC (using WebControlPort 80, Username root, password is blank) - also tried for password passwd, password, technomate
    DCC e2_142
    Filezilla

Default port is 80 but on DCC, I'm getting the error message "Error 10057 in function Send Socket is not connected"
On VUCC getting "Access violation at address 0052B206 in module 'VUCC.exe'. Read of address 00000000."
    Settings chosen in DCC are:
    Direct Crossover
Active Image is set to "Imagine in the Flash"
System is set to "FTP keep alive"

Sea lion is working as are youtube and other online stuff, so definitely working on the network and the pinging of the box, thinking it must be the port DCC and VUCC are using.

    Any ideas guys
    Thanks

Well I think I see your problem, your Technomate TM-5402 HD M3 is not a linux based receiver and is closed source. You can only use those tools with linux enigma based receivers.

Hi.. You need the TM800 HD box for E2 tools and not the 5402...You can use the built in function TM Online in the 5402 to download latest patches and channels lists etc....Regards.

Please do not buy the tm800, this was a one off box that used nxp chip and never worked correctly. There are loads of linux technomates that are much better than the tm800. There are some new ones coming out hopefully end of this month or early next month.

Cheers guys, Box is for a mate, with 28e, 19e & 13e. I downloaded latest channel list from Merlin, and deleted all other channels and frequencies (took ages), and then put remaining channels in favourites groups, mostly within 28e and uploaded channel list to box.

I communicate with my 5402 M3 using STBDaemon. You run the latter on your computer before you try to communicate with with the former to specify your preferred shared folder. I haven't used the USB method for ages.
