hi m8 i have had to revert back to my other receiver as the dish went to far and the spiderbox would not bring the dish back. Ok so it seems to take 6000 channels max but every time i do what aldo said in his 2013 post i get space full. The other problem is actually setting it up, that's an headache so gone back to other receiver at the moment as that works.
thanks
andrew
dont scan all the sats then, scan less
or better still put the COMPASS list on that he posted recently
The OP could also create his own channel list, select which Sats he can receive channels from, what type of channels he wants to watch etc with the channel editor which can be found here:

As i have you the other problem was it would not say on the satellite kept and i could not work out how you moved the manually.
thanks for info though

@ajp
If you had followed the setup procedure correctly you should not have installed " All Satellites ", as ther will be very few people in the UK who can receive All of the sats listed on the spiderbox 6000, you should have followed this part of the setup procedure:
Satellite Setup
Go to Menu / Sat Settings, scroll down the left hand list andclick OK to select all the Sats you want to scan, this will give them a tick.
Right arrow across, scroll down to Motor, right arrow to select ‘Diseq/Usals’, OK, Scroll down to Mode, select Drive to Satellite, scroll down to Set Location, OK, Scroll down Set Long then Lat then save, scroll to Go ‘Save Data and run’ thats it.
and not the last part, which it would appear that you have done, which is here:
Now to scan, Goto Menu / Automatic Sat Scan scroll down to ‘Scan select’ and change to ‘All Sat’, thats it, go get a coffee while it scans.
thanks m8 will try again soon
