i had a look at this tablet...read some reviews of testers of this
did not make very good reading
according to scource this tablet was put in the sale...end of product...
once gone...aldi are not restocking
i would advise you to take it back and get refund..assumeing under warranty
tell them it has a known issue of battery charging fault...plus other issues...

has it really got a known issue with battery charging as ive finally got it charged after 2 days of trying
aacording to scource yes...somtimes very slow if any charge..sometimes fast...its hit and miss
you may be lucky and after a few slow charges..get normal
its exactly as you said recharges when it feels like it ive also got the 7" version about 12 months ago and its hit and miss as well doesent seem to charge unless its powered off also when i switch it off to charge when i check it after a couple of hours its powered up again and not charging

i will get onto medion on monday and see what they say otherwise its back to aldis for a refund
called medion helpline today asked me to send tablet back for repair or replacement hard job getting them to understand that there is an inherent fault with these tablets anyway will send it back and see what happens
update on this received tablet back from medion and lo and behold a new tablet different model everything working now hes well pleased
great result..well done mate
like my source said...they would not be stocking that article again...
newer model brilliant...enjoy
now got to get on to them about my 7 inch lifetab which i bought in december 2013 mostly the same problem charges when it feels like and wont charge at all when its powered on
do not blame you...go for it...obviously same problem as the 10 inch
