no , but just make a note of your mac code in the router ip settings in NETWORK , or on a label inside the front flap, or on the motherboard looking through the vents

Cheers for that info also. I am connected to.

Is there a way to fine tune a sat while watching a channel like you could do with the old Technomate 1500? Also, why does it say 25% for strength & quality in motor setup and quality you back out to a channel and it completely different?

What do you mean by fine tune? Do you mean the signal strength, and quality, by moving the motor?
If using Usals the just alter your longitude settings slightly, if using Diseqc 1.2 then you move the motor using the arrow keys then store the satellite.

Yes thats what I mean but the fine tune in the spiderbox moves the motor in very big jumps rather than little tweaks. I remember reading a post which I can't find now with someone having the same problem after they applied the software update.

I am using Diseqc 1.2 atm due to my dish being slightly out of line and its too stormy these days to go out and sort it.

You can still try Usals, just keep changing your longitude, slightly, until you get it close to tracking the arc.
I seem to remember something similar, but this had to do with certain motors, which juddered using Usals, but worked normally when using Diseqc 1.2.
Are you sure the problem is with the Spiderbox? Could it be your dish moving, a loose connection, or even the motor?
