Try to use following codes:

2945#*290# or
2945#*71002#.

You can rebuild security zone after you get NCK. Phone must be powered on ,
1. Click Rebuild security.
2. Select Proper port
3. Set "Phone need login" , select NCK
4. Fill IMEI and click Repair. Sec area will be rebuilded and locks go away

Thanks triplexxx do i just put either of the above codes at the top, not sure what you mean by rebuid security zone or NCK do i need to do this and be connected to the LG software suite?

Very helpful post but my question is what format must the mobile be in when entering an unlock code,
what I am saying is if you have to enter a letter say P, ALL I get is the letter 7,cant seem to get into
like text mode where letters are used, be grateful for any help....
