Sony Viera and ITV HD

I recently purchased a 46" Sony with built in Freesat receiver. I have BBC HD as a menu option but cannot see any ITV HD Channels or indeed any other HD Channel on my channel list which was created when I did an auto scan. What do I need to do to get more HD channels opened ?

You do not need to do anything........ITV HD is not (at PRESENT) an individual channel......It uses the red button on the ITV STATION, when available, provided of course you are not in Scotland or Northern Ireland, where this is not applicable......In otherwards you require a postcode entered which is in England or Wales.

So to get ITV HD, you need to be on your ITV station, and if its available on HD, then the red button will inform you of this, and all you then have to do is PRESS THE RED BUTTON.

Not much transmitted in HD on ITV, so you will not see the Red Button HD Option very often.

hello i have panasonic with freesat, i think the sony has beta bbc i player on test just press red button on bbc and enter 4 digit code off freesat web site
