    HOME CINEMA v blue ray

    hiya , i have a home cinema( lg) that im pleased with ,, the speakers are by way of clip on wires at the rear of the ALL IN ONE,,,
    do blue ray players have similar to home cinema>?ie optical slots/ scart etc,,,

    blu ray players will have optical slots for audio,but will have hdmi instead if scart.also you probably will find that it won't be compatible with the lg all in one,so if you want surround sound you will probably have to invest in a new av amp and speakers.

    thats the problem with all in ones kieth they arnt very adaptable/upgradeable,save your pennies for an amp

    i agree charlie but to be honest having got a techo/v box drives motor/ sly and home cinema dont want a amp box!! to each is own . that said am very impressed with my lg home cinema.
    and with a optical switch arriving soon ,, will then get all in 5.1 from the home cinema.

    ok back to the thread a week or so back ,,
    the question is this ,,,,
    will i notice a big diffrence betwwen the home cinema i pop a dvd into now ( upscaled) and a blue ray dvd ???????
    am about to get a LG BLUE RAY to link up with my lg tv.

    Have seen a nice lg bd70 that will suit me,, may treat myself next week,,,,
    i have noticed something and its not just dvds but also on sly tv. ,movies.... a lot of films now dont fill the entire screen, have u noticed that ,EVEN WITH a wide screen tv.....
