    Hd Dvd V Blu Ray

it seems to be a conspiracy in the shops to promote blu ray over hd dvd.the only shop i found where you can buy both is virgin megastore and their blu ray section is bigger than the hd dvd section.also blockbuster only stock blu ray discs in their stores, hd dvd only available online no good if you decide on the spur of the moment to rent a hd dvd.

I would wait because richersounds are about to have in stock the new LG BD-100 dual format BD/HD-DVD player, and an e-mail about it last week!.

    Regards.

I think there is more titles of blueray available over HD, I may be wrong - plus you have thousands of PS3 users with a Blueray drive.

Report on the differences between Blu Ray and HD-DVD

Yes, but the difference is very thin.
But Sony offers more appealing conditions for the resellers, that's all.
IMHO, HD-DVDs are still above the BR discs qualitywise, but also featurewise: PIP, HD-DVD+DVD combo...

Support for HD DVD has just been boosted considerably with Paramount and Dreamworks both announcing exclusive use of HD DVD instead of Blu Ray yesterday

I went to blockbuster to hire a blueray film for my PS3 yesterday and they were all rented out seems someone wants to watch these films, maybe its because there are not many top games out for the PS3 yet and people are using them has blu-ray players.
