    S-Video alternative

    I connect my laptop to my Technosonic 32" LCD quite often (for i-player etc) I will be getting an extra telly soon and I have noticed they dont all have s-video that I use now. What alternative connections can I use? if I find one I like without s-video?

    Does your laptop have a DVI out ? as you can then go DVI > HDMI

    I cant see DVI listed on the laptop. Is that a new thing, mine is about a year old?
    I have VGA out, do TVs have that now?
