    Sony Bravia 40v4000

hi- I finally took the plunge and bought the Sony Bravia 40", I was dissapointed as the colour look faded and washed out and i was using my technomate 1500. I was totally shocked when i used the sly box and suddenly the colour was so vivid and vibrant. I did not notice the difference before and especially the advertising look so fantastic on the sly box. Has anyone experience this. My aerial is rubbish as it is indoor aerial and the picture is terrible. Was ok on my previous tv

Using the Technomate 9600HD Super on a QED HDMI lead, and without question superior to the Sky HD Digi Box, if not user error I would be looking at faulty Technomate.

I bought the kdl32w4000 at the week end--- brilliant picture once I'd attacked the settings !!
Also have a TM 1500 linked up via the side AV3 sockets but don't forget on the TM 1500 there is a key on the remote marked "color".
Mine is now set as user.
    Brightness 11
    Contrast 23
    Color 20.
If this helps - I certainly do not get faded and washed out colour.
    Regards

Although I had to send my TM6900HD combo back as it was faulty, when it did work the HD was the best I have seen. Much better that the picture I have seen in TV shops on HDTVs far more expensive than mine.

I have to agree with you as my TM9100 has the worst SD picture of any box that I own.
It was poor on a CRT, and it's even worse on an LCD.
