Reading a cnet review of HD Tv, the reviewer said that LCD Tvs do not do 1080i "interlaced". they merely take the signal and convert it to 720p which (he says) is not good. He says that 1080p is unlikely ever to be transmitted by Sly etc, as it is just uneconomic.
Is it worth spending more on a 1080p when it may be of no use?
Is 720p the the future of TV?
