    Think its a bit optimistic whats being said re MBC 25.5E, since I have a 1.2M dish in NORTH Lincs and currently get NO signal at all on MBC range of channels - but there was a little more in the summer months, but not strong enough to actually WATCH!
    So I would go with Glenn on THIS occasion!

    I have a 1.2mtr dish and on the humax I can get 6 of the sports channels Saudi, Dubai 1 & 2, Bahrain, Youth and Jsc. Also football on AlHayat at the mo, but don't know if its sports all the time. I can get a signal from the Mbc channels but its telling me that the service is not running or scrambled ( don't know if its just the signal that is not strong enough ). I plan to try later with the Technomate - from the snowy Noth East of England.
    I'll let you know if the other receiver is better or worse

    The MBC package on BADR4 has it's own special footprint which is this one:
    _http://www.arabsat.com/ArabSat/English/TheFleet/In-OrbitSatellites/26°+East/MBC-Coverage.htm
    Personally i don't think this footprint is very acurate as i get over 60% quality on MBC with my 1.2m dish. I reckon a 1m dish would do if aligned perfectly!

    I can confirm MBC 1,2 3,4 etc are ok on a 1m dish near Manchester. The signal is weak (just above the threshold in cloudy weather) but stable. Its not as strong as most of the other 250 channels I get from 26E,

    Exclamation Mbc

    @Grahamc:
    I can get all the channels you mention plus many others with pretty good strength/quality - but ZILCH from all the MBC range!

    Mbc

    I live on the North Cornwall Coast,3 miles south of Padstow and I get all the MBC channels on 11919@26east,+loads of other channels which have already been itentified in this thread.Strength is 66% and I am using an Orbital 1 metre dish with a 0.3 sharp LNB and a Dreambox7000,which has probably the crappiest tuner in the history of crappy tuners.

    I installed my own motorised system and I have never taken any notice of Sat footprints,if you do it right then you will reap the rewards.

    Cheers

    If you have dect phones or wireless routers try unpluging and test the signal on MBC ive had many systems give no signal on mbc freq but once turned off phone and router in they came.
