anyone got ch4 HD working on freesat

hiya,

sort of posted this in another thread, but not quite, so i though i'd be more direct.

i have an hd box (Pasison+) and a dragon cam, and an old sly card which im hoping gets activated over night.

question, has anyone got this channel working for FREE? and not part of a SLY sub?

my old sly card activated tonight and clears ch5 in a sly box, (didnt earlier) so i stuck it in my passion+ (well, into the cam anyway inside my passion+) then entered the box id of my sly box into the dragon software, and nothing, it just says "scrambled program"

ps it didnt clear sky3 - should it have? just a thougt, have i taken the card out too early from my sly box?

any ideas pimps?

not in my sky box mate...but then saying that ch5 is fta but wouldnt clear in my sly box until it acitvated over night.

on freesat box clearing no problem

weird, this morning sky3 worked in my box, i think i had pulled the card out just as it was activating but hadnt finisihed - this morning sky3 working.

AND NOW CH4 HD working.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

sky 3 is free to air ,

No it's not mate ,you need a freesat card.ManikM glad you got it sorted mate,just for future reference,if your card goes down when the monthly/bi monthly update is sent out,when you put it back in the sly box use sly3 to update,i have found with much practice that this channel seems to work best for updates.I no longer have to do this coz the last patch for my TM6900 HD does the update for me:king-041:.All the best Fella.

I can get channel 4 hd on my 6900 but keeps freezing every 30 seconds or so, anyone else got this problem?

well mine was ok on h/d 4 but so far it has not do a update in the 6900 t/mate and im not sure it will , i had used my dreambox upto now . will have to wait and see

mate you need a cam that lets you enter a sky box's serial number in the emu software in my case:

Dragon Cam with latest Predator software with the serial number of my old sky box entered.

Then i use my old expired SKY Card (blue one , with a yellow house symbol on it) which had to be left in my SKY box on Channel5 overnight to re-activate (acts as a freesat card)

Then that it, cam into receiver, card into the cam - job done.

CH4 HD clearing.

I don't think you need to enter the box serial into your dragon cam for the FTV channels I didn't when I tried mine it just worked
