happened to me yesterday ( 21st ) at around 0700 ish
I would assume it was lightning as a bit later on I heard a rumble too
but it didnt seem like lightning at the time
could have been a ufo!!!!!!!!

I have mentioned this in another UFO thread. The "IRIDIUM" satellites of which there are about 40, give off a brilliant flash of light if you are in the right place at the right time. These timings are given for your location on "heavensabove.com"
After the sun and the moon they are the brightest objects in the sky.
I have seen one and it looks like a huge headlight suddenly appears in the sky and then disappears. You may have seen this.
Seen over 150 square miles???
If you are all in a straight line yesBut over a large area hundreds of people could theoretically be in the right place at the right time.
But as it was 3.30 am I think its probably something else.
By the way coming home through Suffolk ar about 23.30 last night my missus saw several shooting stars. Maybe we are in a meteor shower at the moment?

I saw a flash not lighting. And i heard what could of been thunder, but in no way it sounded like it. The whole thing was weird. Unusual. Thats all.
Had this tonight Crossgare area N.Ireland. Very bright flash. We had cloud cover.
My father and I were outside at around 6pm and both of us were startled by it. It was to the west.
A few moments later we had an aircraft that (takes off from Belfast international) pass over (climbing) coming from the North but the cloud cover was dense and we could not see the plane but my god that flash was really bright and like nothing I have ever seen.
Surely that wasn't a Sat?
Sounds very strange m8 but at this time of year there are more sightings of this kind whatever they are. Its very dark for so many hours and more people see stange lights nowthan at other time of the year.

I live close to Matlock and for many years there have been reports of strange lights seen in the night sky. A m8 of mine took 6 minutes of video of a masive UFO close to his house a few years back. And it was around this time of the year.

Heard them talking on 5 Live the other day about recent UFO sightings around Worcester and the Malverns. Certainly is the season for it.
Fireworks going off, iridium satellites spinning in orbit, meteorites, even Santa doing an early run ....... all things are possible I suppose, but everything has a logical explanation.
But aliens! Who in their right minds would want to come here and buy into our problems?
All I would say is...
