Cat5e options
Very interesting option. With more and more boxes without RF outlets and a limited number of scarts on any tv this looks like a possible network solution.
good pointer for research. Will post any solid results.
Thanks again.

I got HD the cheapskate way, fortechstar passion for £130.
Some peeps slate them but mine has been very good, its got a few quirks and s/w bugs but the picture is excellent.
1 west has a good collection of HD channels but you need a M2+ card and a conax cam to clear them, before you buy ask yourself what you want to watch that you cant allready see.
Watching HD on a normal tv is a real mess.

Glad I read this thread, I was going for the MVision HD 200 combo but this has changed my mind. Ive always had technomates, Current one is a 1500cis and had 2 before that. With a lot of STBS with PVR, the PVR seems a bit hit and miss so the technomates works? Also is the DVBT side mpeg 4 compatible as thats what they are going to use here in Ireland when DTT is launched?
