echolink + innovative mk1 joined?

hi guys
i have a echolink el777 fta and a innovative mk1 receiver and was wondering if i could join them together.
ie use the innovative as main sat input then run the cable from the if out on innovative to the if in on the echolink instead of changing the cables all the time.
reason for doing this is the echolink "see" premier channels clear but the innovative doesnt.
would appreciate some feedback on this please.

yes, i think you can do it...

just switch on one receiver at a time, when one is on, put the other on standby.
