I have motitored what is going on duing boot via hyperterminal and this is what i get...

M8 did you sort this problem out ?

I have this box, had it about 2 years now and its very good.

Did you try flashtools with the 250 original u_boot image first ?

First of all thanks for your reply

I have now tried loads of images and it is starting to do my head in big time , I found that if i load the latest boot loader then load an enigam image it gets passed the BOOT stage and starts to load image , but then it stops with halt on the LED

I will try the latest U_boot image now ... will i need to load a boot loader first ?

    Keno I have PM'd you

Did you try to restore u_boot and then install official image.

See the thing is these boxes are not designed for enigma and when you use them it cause problems and this is why sometimes you need to restore u_boot.

I'll go and find it for you.

I have a funny feeling that you live near me

    Here you go.

OK start flashtools, click serial locate u_boot I have posted and flash this to box, its important that you don't interrupt this.

Once its done then try a image.

m8 if you have a HDD in take it out.

Once you have flashed with u_boot then flash with official firmware.

there is no HDD in box

    serial_all_ipbox250_enigma1_20080 610

is that NOT official firmware ?, I downloaded it from T.O.S.

all so you say reboot after downloading Cubecafe-S_serial_uboot to the box , what i have been doing is reset flashtootls load new file then press OK button again and then i will start to load FW and not rebooting the box inbetween files

maybe i am doing this wrong

AB IPbox 250 is the same as Relook CubeCafe 250 .Enigma is not official firmware for relook boxes.
DGS images are. There are several DGS based images aviable.
Go to h##p://www.denktenk.com its the best forum for relook users.
Enigma doesnt use the same bootloader as DGS thats why you have to flash the Cubecafe-S_serial_uboot image. After flashing reboot the box and flash it with CubeCafe FantacyTeam 2.16a Serial Image wich has emu support.
