Humax freesat no hd for Itv

The reciever is fine for BBC HD But I Recieve no hd logo for itv hd
Any one else here with similar problems?
Both signal and quality fill the bars but no logo for the red button.
I thought the euro 2008 games were all being broadcast in HD.

    feck all here

    nothing here for me
no logo on the screen at all any time.
The red button is going to be worn out soon.
I will have to email humax.
and may be they will be able to advise me further.
I will also try switching feeds over to the fibo gregorian dish .
that way I will be able to align both 28.2 and 28.5 accuratley.
possibly the reciever being fed through a pioneer vsx-ax4si amp is something to do with interactive services being restricted.
I will try going straight to the telly and using optical for sound.
    HDCP might be an issue.
I will let you all know what transpires out of this baffling situation.
    regards weeted

It won't work with an Irish or Scottish postcode on an offical Freesat box!

Stick in an English postcode & try again, but only when Euro 2008 is on. It won't even work if you try during the adverts in the footie!

does the postcode not have to match where you actually live? Or does it work with a post code away from your area

The Postcode as i read it was only for setting up the NEWS for your area ,it of course could be used somehow to do something else but that was the reason stated on freesat's page .

There is no return path from any Sat box unless you have a phone line connected. Therefore the box (and the provider) have no idea where you are.

There is no ITV region in Scotland, and this is why you don't have the ITV HD option on Freesat HD receivers.
