    topfield hd receiver

    does anyone know the difference between the TOPFIELD TF 7710 HSCI HDTV
    and TOPFIELD TF 7700 HSCI HDTV?

    Aparently the same

    My mate had a 7710. He found out they were the very same specifications except the 7710 has a slight difference in the menu Dept.He only kept it about three weeks as he could not come to terms with a very poor remote control TMULL

    The 7700 does not have USB PVR function, not according to Turbosat the UK distributor, also the 7710 has a 250 GB HDD built in and twin tuners, also the picture of the 7710 above is incorrect see attached image for the right one.

    wouly any you guys recommend this receiver?do it have very good picture quality in sd and hd?how does it compare to kathrein 910?

    7700HSCI have USB PVR option.... i use USB Seagate disk for recording.... you believe to distributor but not believe official web site and user who have 7700?
    just upgrade with TF7700HSCI firmware with USB PVR Ready for Europe (23022)

    does this receiver upscale sd pictures better than the humax and will the dioblo cam work with it?

    Not better but as good

    It would be hard to beat the Humax in the upscaling Dept. But the 7100 is as good comparing both sets on the same Sony 40W 2000 full HD tv set.And yes it is compatible with the Diablo cam.TMULL
